This policy explains what personal data Resolweb collects when you visit this website or contact us, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have. We keep it short and in plain words.

Who we are

Resolweb is a digital marketing agency. We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy. For any question about your data, write to us at contact@resolweb.com.

What we collect

When you fill in the contact form

  • Your full name and phone number (required)
  • Your email address and business name (optional)
  • The services you select and the message you write
  • The date and time you sent the form

To protect the form from spam, we also store a scrambled code made from your IP address. It is created with a one-way function, so it cannot be turned back into your IP address.

When you email us

We receive your email address, your name if you include it and everything you write in the message.

When you browse the website

Like most websites, our hosting server keeps standard technical logs, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you open and the time of the visit. These logs are used only to keep the website working and secure.

Why we use your data

  • To reply to your request and talk with you about a possible collaboration, because you asked us to.
  • To prepare a proposal or quote if you request one.
  • To keep the website and the contact form secure and free of spam, which is our legitimate interest.
  • To measure how the website is used, only if you accept cookies (your consent).

We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising and we do not add you to a mailing list without asking you first.

Cookies and tracking

With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website, for example which pages are visited and how people find us. These tools set cookies and send data about your visit to Google, such as the pages you open, your device and your approximate location. Google Analytics does not store your IP address.

These cookies are only set if you click “Accept” in the cookie banner. If you click “Reject”, nothing is measured. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. You can also block cookies in your browser settings or with Google’s opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

If you choose a language or close the language suggestion, your browser remembers that choice (in its local storage) so we don’t ask again. Your cookie choice is remembered the same way, for 12 months.It stays on your device and is never sent to us.

Who we share it with

We only share your data with the service providers that help us run this website and our business:

  • Our hosting provider, which stores the website, the form requests and our email.
  • Google, for the analytics tool described above, only if you accept cookies.

We may also disclose data if the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

We keep form requests and emails only as long as we need them to reply to you and follow up on a possible collaboration. If we start working together, we keep the data needed for the duration of the work and for as long as the law requires for accounting purposes. The spam protection data is deleted automatically after one hour.

How we protect it

Form requests are stored in a private folder on our server that cannot be reached from the internet, and only our team has access to them. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

Your rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you have the right to:

  • Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete
  • Ask us to delete your data
  • Object to or ask us to limit how we use your data
  • Ask us to send your data to you or to another company in a common format
  • File a complaint with your local data protection authority

To use any of these rights, write to contact@resolweb.com. We reply within 30 days and we may ask you to confirm your identity first.

Children

This website is meant for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

If we change how we handle your data, we update this page and the date at the top. Important changes are also highlighted here.
